about

Creation of ritual items

Students of the Jacob Sapirstein Junior High School for Boys in Ramot, Jerusalem, take pride in their artistic creation of this charity box, as well as the value it represents: social justice and community responsibility
The creation of ritual objects enhances the student's identification with spiritual as well as creative values; students learn about the object's function and purpose in traditional practice, while simultaneously acquiring valuable skills in the crafts arts from which they can benefit later in life.
