Students of the Jacob
Sapirstein Junior High School for Boys in Ramot, Jerusalem, take pride in their artistic creation of this charity box, as well as the value it represents: social justice and community responsibility
The creation of ritual objects enhances the student's identification with spiritual as well as creative
values; students learn about the object's function and purpose in traditional practice, while
simultaneously acquiring valuable skills in the crafts arts from which they can benefit
later in life.
