Ann Belsky Moranis School of Arts held its annual Menorah-making workshop

The Ann Belsky Moranis School of Arts held its annual Menorah-making workshop prior to Chanukah. The program began with a shiur and chavruta time exploring the laws of candle-lighting, and culminated with the construction of chanukiyot using an extravagant array of materials. Students from the Israeli, Overseas and Darkaynu programs interacted in a productive and delightful atmosphere, particularly enjoying the opportunity to express themselves spiritually through the arts. When Chanukah came, everyone lit their chanukiyot together in the lobby. The variety of artistic construction was fascinating to see and the group lighting contributed to the overall air of festivity and feeling of family that exists at Midreshet Lindenbaum.
