Beit Midrash Studio program underwayOctober 2001
The 2001-2 academic year of the innovative Beit Midrash Studio (Study Hall Studio) is now underway. The program offers students from overseas the unique opportunity to compliment their year of intensive Torah and Talmudic study in Israel with courses in the fine arts and studio arts,
archeological
excursions, museum visits and meetings with prominent artists.
The course, which is team-taught by Chana Cromer and Rabbi Shmuel Klitsner, is being offered this year on the Midreshet Lindenbaum campus.
After presenting their portfolios, undergoing 2 training exercises and enduring extensive interviews, 18 highly motivated Midreshet Lindenbaum students were accepted based upon their talent, past experience and training, and capacity for visual imagination and interpretation.
