OTS mourns the loss of Dvir Emanueloff, z”l, the first Israeli casualty of the ground campaign in Gaza. A staff sergeant in the elite Golani brigade, the 22-year-old was killed by Hamas mortar fire in Jabalya.

Dvir, a graduate of the Jacob Sapirstein High School for Boys in Ramot, Jerusalem, exemplified the values of Judaism and Zionism. He will be sorely missed by his teachers, classmates, family and friends.
